Kids Classes

  • Mixed Aerial 101- Ages 13-17
    Date: Mondays-September 27-November 1, 2021
    Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm
    Cost: Price $175 + GST
    Instructor:  Erin
    Description: In this 6-week Aerial class, safety and fun are part of the class core. We build strength, flexibility and a solid movement foundation to be able to safely play and explore in the air. The program is based on a balance of technique learning and creativity games. Participants will work on trapeze, silks and aerial hoop through the semester.
     
    For participants ages 12 and up: For each class, we will be doing symptom screening and taking temperatures. We are also requiring masks to be worn during class and we will be implementing social distancing during activities. Please do not send your child to class if they are experiencing any symptoms. We will also be requiring one of the following:
    • proof of vaccination
      • single dose accepted between September 20 and October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service
      • double doses required after October 25
    • documentation of a medical exemption
    • proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)
  • Circus 101- Ages 9-12
    Date: Tuesdays-September 28-November 2, 2021
    Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
    Cost: Price $175+ GST
    Instructor:  Skinny
    Description: With a focus on fun and growth, this 6-week class will teach you a variety of circus skills including: juggling, diablo, plate spinning, flower sticks, poi, rola-bola, unicycle, tight wire, slack line, stilt walking, simple acrobatics, walking barrels, and aerial. Skills are taught in ascending difficulty to ensure participants achieve success in all disciplines.
     
    For participants under 12 years old: For each class, we will be doing symptom screening and taking temperatures. We are also requiring masks to be worn during class and we will be implementing social distancing during activities. Please do not send your child to class if they are experiencing any symptoms.

Chaque élève pourra ainsi s’amuser et créer de façon sécuritaire grâce à un mélange d’apprentissage technique et de jeux créatifs. Le tout sera effectué sur trois différents appareils aériens : trapèze, tissu et cerceau aérien. Cette classe sera donnée en français.
